主题：Financial Transaction Taxes: An Experimental Investigation
讲座摘要：
This lecture briefly introduces the history of financial transaction taxes, and related policy considerations, as well as current implementation of these taxes worldwide. It will also present an experimental study designed to evaluate the impacts of financial transaction taxes on market outcomes, including bubbles formation and size, trading volumes, profits and volatility.
嘉宾简介：
齐力博士现任美国Agnes Scott College经济系教授和系主任, 并且担任中国留美经济学会理事。她是2012-2013 和2018-2019年度美国富布莱特奖FULBRIGHT资深研究员和杰出学者（Distinguished Chair）。2004年获美国匹兹堡大学经济学博士学位, 之后在美国哥伦比亚大学做博士后研究。她的主要研究领域包括实验和行为经济学和金融, 以及中国经济。她在许多国际学术期刊（Review of Finance, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Journal of Financial Markets, Business Ethics Quarterly, Southern Economic Journal, China Economic Review, Journal of Chinese Economic and Business Studies, Chinese Economy 等）发表了多篇论文。齐博士曾任美国联邦储备银行(亚特兰大分行)金融部访问学者及美国佐治亚州立大学实验经济学中心客座教授。她的研究得到多家国际机构科研基金资助（National Institutes of Health, Mellon Foundation, Asia Network, Freeman Foundation, Ronald Coase Institute, National Science Foundation, NBER etc.）
